What really makes the musical special though is Laurence O'Keefe's music. I was already a fan of his work in the musical Legally Blonde and his work in Heathers is just as good, if not better. There are so many upbeat tunes that will make you want to watch the show again and again but there are also lots of more serious songs that show the vulnerabilities of the characters in such an effective way.
