Damn this is super nice looking. I still have an Animal Crossing v2 Switch so I’m not upgrading until a more powerful system comes out… but this is really nice looking.

If these were proper fully-featured Joy-Con, I would absolutely leap at these, but as they are, it’s a hard pass. Rumble often makes such a tangible difference in games, especially as I have been mostly playing classic DOOM over the last couple of months, so much so that playing it on PC again without the tactility of rumble feels like a downgrade! (though both platforms have their pros and cons) I like it. I got the Splatoon 3 version myself, I think the Pokemon one looks even better (besides the Joy-cons, the Splatoon 3 ones are way better), but I never buy a on a game(franchise) based SE console if I don't like that game(franchise). The games introduce several new features such as Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing, functions that increase size and change forms of certain Pokémon; the Wild Area, a large open world with free camera movement; and raids with co-op battling. They also reintroduce features previously seen in Sun and Moon and Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, such as regional variants and roaming Pokémon depicted in the overworld. Hori have just released Split Pad Pro Attachment Set where you buy the big controllers and a middle bit that makes the Split Pad Pro into a wired controller with a headphone/microphone port. (I haven't seen the middle bit sold separately yet.) Watch out for the Split Pad Fit get sold with this middle bit in the future maybe.rjejr hello Sir, I find playing Tetris 99 with the JoyCon in the grip the best way, better than my Splatoon2 pro controller because of the dpad. Strong contender for ugliest Joy-Con colour combination yet. On their own they're fine but together... bleh. RubyCarbuncle eevee is another one that it is extremely overrated and appears every where. The charmander line, the mews and gengar are other examples. I'm 100% going to get some of these. Having big hands I struggle using the joy-con for log sessions handheld. I'm also not fussed with no group, rumble etc. Always turn of rumble and only use gyro with my pro controller.

In Sword and Shield, you explore the Galar region, based on the United Kingdom, alongside rivals Hop, Bede and Marnie, with the aim to dethrone the Pokémon League Champion. Original Article (Fri 23rd Sep, 2022 02:55 BST): Accessory-maker Hori has revealed it's teaming up with The Pokémon Company to release Pokémon-themed Split Pad Fit. sixrings Any limited edition Nintendo hardware only ever goes up in resale value if kept in good condition. You can basically sell these for a profit years from now if you want to. johnvboy didn’t they release a special edition just months before dropping the oled. Maybe xenoblade. I can’t remember

In addition to a brand new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Nintendo has announced a special edition Switch OLED based on the new entries.

HD rumble though, now there's something that I actually use and value. That, and the type of games that I would desire a d-pad for aren't the type of games that I would need a gyro and camera for anyways. In case you missed it, these Joy-Con-like controllers are a follow-up to Hori's Switch Split Pad Pro, and are officially releasing here in the west as the Switch Split Pad Compact. They'll be available here in two different colours, but over in Japan there are four - and now even more options to choose from!

These aren't the first officially licensed Switch controllers from PowerA. The company has released a number of other designs in the past, including more Pokemon-themed ones, as well as Zelda, Overwatch, and more.

I don't really have much need of them, have a Split Pad Pro and two and a half sets of Joycons (have an extra right one) with no one to really play with anyway, but that Pikachu and Mimikyu one is fairly tempting. SwitchForce Eh, at that point I'd rather sell off my base Switch model. Wouldn't be worth as much, but I'd rather sell off the least relevant model to me Nintendo Life’s resident horror fanatic, when he’s not knee-deep in Resident Evil and Silent Hill lore, Ollie likes to dive into a good horror book while nursing a lovely cup of tea. He also enjoys long walks and listens to everything from Motorhead to BB King. When he’s not paying off a loan to Tom Nook, Liam likes to report on the latest Nintendo news and admire his library of video games. His favourite Nintendo character used to be a guitar-playing dog, but nowadays he prefers to hang out with Judd the cat. Moistnado haha they sound like the same ones, and mine have been holding up pretty great and the gyro works flawlessly, my split pads mostly collect dust nowQuestion: Do you, or anyone you know, use that cheap plastic grip which hasn't changed in 5 1/2 years? I really think it serves no purpose. I do have 1 kid who uses it occasionally but they mostly just use they Switched h in handheld and in over 2 years never bought any other controllers. My other kid and I use Pro or faux Pro, but when I do use the Joy con it's b/c I want them split for motion or something, so not putting them in the Grip.
