Revealed in " The Fall of Mizimu Grove" from Disney Junior's The Lion Guard. Season 2, Episode 28. Written by Kendall Michele Haney and directed by Howy Parkins. Originally aired March 25, 2019. Leviathan lives in the depths and causes it to boil (Job 41:31). Pride is so deep in man it is difficult to draw it out because it lives so deep within us. Boiling represents restlessness. Humility brings rest. Pride causes restlessness. Wherever pride goes, he leaves a trail behind. Wherever you look you can see a trail of misery, broken lives, and destruction. Do not walk in the path of pride. It is a path that leads to shame and destruction. In a typical natural population of lions, about 23 to 30 percent of the animals are males, Hunter said. But hunts geared toward males can skew that balance. In Zambia's Luangwa Valley, for example, hunting recently decreased the portion of males to 8 percent of the population, at least four times lower than it would normally be, he said.

Kovu becomes confused when he sees that Kion has been cornered, and asks his mother why they can't be friends. His mother tells him that Kion made his own choice to side with the hyenas and that it is his fault. When Nuka voices his concern over the Roar, Zira explains that Kion cannot use it against them since using it on lions was how Scar lost it all those years ago. Zira then offers Kion one final chance to side with her, but Kion notices Ono flying overhead and calls the Lion Guard together. Kovu becomes fearful and immediately withdraws himself. The next day, Scar brought Simba to the gorge under the pretense that Mufasa had a surprise for him. When Simba insisted that he should go with Scar to fetch Mufasa, Scar reminded the cub that he might get in trouble again like he had with the hyenas. He then advised Simba to work on his roar instead. Just before Scar left, Simba asked if he would like the surprise, and Scar replied that the surprise was "to die for." He then left Simba behind and gave the hyenas the signal to start a stampede of wildebeests in the gorge. He set out on the journey and walked long and far. Finally, he reached a lush jungle, which appears to be the same oasis where Timon and Pumbaa made their home many years later. After getting a drink from the river, Mohatu laid down in the shade for a brief rest. But as he is napping, he hears the sound of someone crying. Curious, he goes in for a better look. Upon reaching the river, he sees a massive crocodile sitting in the water, crying. He asks him what's wrong, and the crocodile swims to the bank. Mohatu sees just how enormous and powerful he really is, and if he hadn't been the brave king that he was, he would have been terrified. Another characteristic of this spirit Leviathan is being unyielding and unbending (Job 41:23). To yield means to submit by giving way before force, argument, persuasion, or entreaty. It means to relinquish one’s rights. People who are “set in their ways” (unbending and unyielding) are being controlled by Leviathan, who refuses to yield. Upon reaching adulthood, Scar remained self-absorbed and negligent. He was bitterly jealous of Mufasa and Simba, and constantly lamented how they stood in the way of his ambitions. Despite this, he did not openly challenge Mufasa's authority and was subtle in his jibes against Simba. He mostly used sarcasm, derision, and a gloomy sense of humor to portray his sour moods, which frustrated Mufasa and went over a young Simba's head.It shouldn’t matter. He’s not her type—the man translates classics into Latin for fun, and his membership at the exclusive club where she bartends means he’s strictly off limits. Later, after Queen Janna's death and funeral, Kion comforted her granddaughter, Rani. During their conversation, Kion confessed that he was afraid to face his grandfather because he had a scar that was identical to Scar's. Rani eventually convinced him to speak to Mufasa anyway. [24] Zira's plot “ In a deleted scene from The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Zira states that Scar's dying wish was for the Outsiders to train Kovu to become king. This suggests that the hyenas did not eat Scar. [54]
