A decent record but I'd have preferred a compilation of End Of Evangelion's songs. Otherwise the color discs are pretty and the music quality is good. (no surface noise)

Neon Genesis Evangelion originally ran from 1995 to 1996 and is credited with the big global spread of Japanese animation due to the popularity of the series. This pressing sounds fantastic, hearing these songs in this format is the best way to do it. Not to mention, the green and purple is absolutely gorgeous, especially the first record - I was expecting a solid neon green vinyl, but it almost has a cool marbled effect that is stunning. All of the variants look great (of which there are many), but this one in particular is my favorite. Overall the new cut is more reverb drenched and slightly low end EQd which loses some of that in the room presence which Bellman brought.
