It doesn’t have that show stopping powerful note that some other men’s fragrances have, which is probably why I have not used this scent too much. But hello... so much sweet at once, that's almost overkill. Honestly, half of it would certainly be enough. The atomiser gives off a nice wide spray with good coverage, and no need to overspray. I have a 50ml bottle, and there is still those and 100ml bottles available today. With this fragrance everything started with me, which is why my first comment is dedicated to this fragrance. For me Armani Eau De Nuit lasted around 6 hours, so I’d say it had reasonable performance. There’s plenty of longer lasting fragrances, but it’s not as though this under performs. But somehow there's always something too much, it's too full and overflowing with sweet-spicy accents, making you feel "overdressed" with it all the time, I think.

By the way, I actually feel Eau de Nuit like a more grown-up, perfumier version of the Code series, which also tends to be too sweet for me. But just clearly the Armani DNA. Now after years(decades)of using DH, LNDL and companions, I smell Eau de Nuit, and can switch in my head: I can either feel it in its lush entirety, or perceive the olfactory axes in isolation, thinking of fragrances that have a similar set piece. I lived abroad for a while and there this was my all-rounder fragrance. I now associate a lot of memories with this smell. Funny how a fragrance can really bring out very detailed images in your mind (like a movie theater).

The notes give this a really inviting and masculine type of scent which lives up to it’s name, as I’d call this a good evening fragrance. As the name suggests and as I’ve already said, I see this as an evening scent. I can see wearing this for anything from informal nights out to more formal gatherings.

This smells like Armani Code, a little big stronger though. unfortunately the strength is coming from Norlimbanol & Ambroxan, both very apparent in its dry down. The cedar-smelling heavy dry down is likely played out by the aromachemical Norlimbanol. |Armani Eau De Nuit is a woody, aromatic and slightly floral fragrance with a really inviting smell. There’s strong hints of the bergamot and pink pepper at the top, with cedar, amber and tonka bean making up the base of the scent.
