About this deal

Don’t let the fact that these headphones have the word ‘runner’ in the title put you off from using them for swimming, too. With IPX8 waterproof rating, the Naenka Bone Conduction headphones are fully waterproof and ideal for swimming (as well as running). It also offers Multi-Sport Modes & Connected GPS: 14 exercise modes help you better understand specific activity data; Connect the GPS on your cell phone can show run stats like pace and distance and record a map of your workout route.

We found this was the best way to both upload and listen to music using these, but you can also connect to the Sonar headphones via Bluetooth. All you have to do is hit the ‘M’ button on the righthand speaker and a blue LED light will start blinking — you can then connect your phone or smartwatch to the device. The LED turns a solid blue once paired. When placing the earbuds in the watch, attach the earbuds to the cover. Do not directly insert the earbuds into the earbud compartments. You control the earbuds via programmable double and triple taps. These gestures work on the earbuds themselves as well as on the sides of your ears - you can tap almost anywhere on your earlobes and the buds automatically recognize the taps through their built-in sensors.

Though it has limited access to apps, the Fitbit Versa 4 is an excellent fitness-focused smartwatch. We appreciate its attractive, comfortable design which offers a few improvements over the last generation, including a slimmer case, a physical button, and a more responsive touch screen. The latest model offers 40 exercise modes, up from 20 last generation. Samsung Samsung watches run the Tizen operating system. Just as Apple Watches are best with an iPhone, you're better off with a Samsung-branded phone here. However, you will find good compatibility with other Android brands. Apps have historically been more limited on Tizen than on Wear OS, although this is slowly improving, with popular apps such as Spotify, Uber and Nest now available. There's some compatibility with iPhones, but some more recent releases, are not compatible. DacyFlower is an unknown brand and with this smartwatch they have pulled a major stunt. The watch is pathetic, but in combination with the earbuds it can prove to be real handy

The Chinese company has never produced anything like this before. The combination of two important and necessary things, such as wireless TWS headphones and smartwatches, is both cool and unusual. In fact, HUAWEI is simply expanding its current line of smartwatches. Without adding anything to the software (the top-of-the-line Watch Ultimate model is not an example here), the company produces a variety of watches that differ in design. The approach is understandable – there is always something new on the market, and it is important to maintain and fuel interest in products. One big downside to the buds is that they only connect to the watch and your paired smartphone at the time of writing this review. Huawei did promise to expand the connectivity options to other devices like laptops and tablets with a future software update but the option is not available yet. Performance The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is our current favorite for its streamlined design, excellent health and safety features, and useful calling and texting capabilities. Outdoor adventurers might prefer the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which offers a more durable titanium case, an even stronger sapphire crystal glass display, longer battery life, and a few outdoor-specific navigation features. For activation and setup, Fitbit devices require the Fitbit app, which is compatible with smartphones running at least Android 9 or iOS 15. Fitbit is in the process of migrating its app to Google's authentication platform. At this point, all new users will need a Google account to log into the Fitbit app. Legacy Fitbit users will soon need to migrate their account over to Google's platform to log in, a fairly painless process we detail in our Versa 4 review.

What's the Best Android Watch?

Though these buds are tiny, they do let out a surprising roar, and Huawei doesn’t shortchange on audio performance. It takes little to no time to pair the devices to the smartphones. As it has Bluetooth 5 technology, the connection is stable. Surprisingly enough, you can control Siri with the smartwatch. The headphones are so tiny, you may wonder if they are easy to operate. Huawei has thought of everything here, too. The earbuds read the vibrations of the ear, so you can touch not only them but the entire auricle. The first digit after the IP reflects the level of protection against solids, such as dust or grit. The second represents the protection against moisture. An IP code with an X in place of either number means the device hasn't been tested for that element.

Most of the smartwatches on our list feature GPS connectivity, which means they can record your runs without the help of a companion device (the Garmin Lily is an exception). Most modern smartwatches also have an optical heart rate sensor that can take continuous and on-demand heart rate measurements. Sensors: 6-axis inertial sensors (acceleration sensor and gyroscope), optical heart rate sensor 5.0, optical ambient sensor, Hall effect sensor, capacitive sensor and bone conduction component (VACC) Samsung's latest smartwatches feature popular Google apps like Assistant, Maps, and the Play Store, alongside Samsung's Bixby, Buds Controller, Pay, and more. The Pixel Watch features all the Google standbys, including Assistant, Gmail, Home, Maps, the Play Store, and Wallet. ATM: Resistant to pressure equivalent to a depth of 50 metres. Splash- and showerproof, can be worn swimming and snorkelling in shallow water. One of the striking features is Auto Light-up Screen, which is pretty responsive. The overall build of the watch is its Achilles heel as it is made up of cheap plastic. Both the smartwatch and earbuds are fragile. DSMART Fitness & Health Smart Watch Active noise cancelation (ANC) is potent and delivers a noticeable drop in static noise around you. It’s nowhere near the level you’d get on pair of over-ear headphones but for a tiny pair of earbuds - it’s good enough. As an added bonus you get an EQ tuning option inside the Huawei Health app. The volume coming out of the earbuds is a bit lower than on most of the standalone buds we’ve reviewed in the past months.
