Description

There is no battery in the case, to charge the brush and anything connected via the USB cable the case has to be connected to mains power.

However, in reality, being able to see or feel the differences are virtually impossible unless under very strict test conditions.

The Oral B Pro 2 2500 N provides cleaner and whiter teeth with gum protection within a short span of 2 minutes. It allows you to brush for the maximum time as recommended by dentists.

The Pro 2 2000 has a Li-Ion battery offering 14 days use compared to the 10 days of the NiMH of the Pro 1000.Oral B Pro timer buzzes after every 30 seconds to direct you to brush the other quadrants of your teeth.

All the electric toothbrushes on test today have a “Protimer”. This is a helpful on handle timer that buzzes every 30 seconds. After four of these buzzes you will have completed your recommended 2 minutes of brushing. Features: Verdict All three of the electric toothbrushes take between 5-6 hours to charge fully from being discharged. I usually just leave them overnight and by morning they are ready to brush for another week. Battery Life: Verdict Power isn’t normally promoted or documented as it is a small part of the toothbrushing experience. More power doesn’t necessarily equal a better clean. Your total brushing time and technique have a big part to play.

JOKE OF THE DAY

With either you have to power the brush on to change mode, but the Genius will remember the cleaning mode and start on this next time it is powered on, the 5000 does not. A big improvement, it means you can go between charges for longer and works better for those who travel and are away from power. For the majority of people, myself included the Oral-B Pro 3 3500 is the toothbrush to go for. It offers a balance of cleaning performance and features at a price most will find affordable.

In the very near future we will have a guide that explains this all in detail. However, here is the short answer for now. Whilst I do agree that it will have some impact on how well plaque can be removed, there is little evidence that I have seen that highlights or confirms that additional brush head movements are that beneficial in plaque removal. Smaller and less unsightly, it is designed to sit on a worktop rather than adhere to a wall or mirror. You just need to pop your phone in it, which takes a couple of seconds compared to the tens of seconds with the Genius brush configuration. You phone then sits in portrait or landscape orientation and shows the on-screen timer.

1) Features: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500

The toothbrush set consists of an electric toothbrush handle, a cross-action toothbrush head, and a UK pin charger. It has polishing cups to hold the toothpaste and gently whiten your teeth. Many people do not brush for the right amount of time, nor use the correct brushing technique. In most cases, this is because they have never been shown. Perfecting these will have far greater improvement than the speed of the brush head. The only difference between the Oral-B Pro 2 2500N and 2500W (other than the colour) is that the 2500N comes with the Crossaction brush head and the 2500W comes with the whitening brush head. Out of the two brush heads, I much prefer the CrossAction however if you prefer the pink colour, you can just get the Oral-B Pro 2 2500W and buy some CrossAction brush heads separately. What’s in the box? The Pro 2 2500 has a larger rubber grip on the front of the handle that the Pro 3 – 3500 does not have.
