has a distinctive bottle with a bison in a clearing. There’s text underneath, which in my case is in French. However, I imagine it’s different for every country. Around the bottle are extra blades of grass, an additional logo, and a bison pressed into the glass. Today, Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka is enjoyed by vodka enthusiasts all around the world. It is made with the same traditional methods and high-quality ingredients that have been used for centuries, and it continues to be a beloved and iconic spirit. The Legend of the Zubr Some say that the farmers and woodsmen of the forest would have a shot of Żubrówka every morning before they ventured off to work to give them the strength of a bison. Or was it a shot before they jumped into bed with their wives before they, well, you know? I forget. Either way, it has a long standing tradition as a drink that exerts some sort of ethereal power. To make Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka, you'll need three things: alcohol, water, and, of course, Zubrowka Bison Grass. The alcohol used in Zubrowka is a high-quality neutral grain spirit, which is made from fermented grains such as corn, wheat, or rye. The water used in Zubrowka comes from the Zubrowka River, which is located in the Zubrowka region of Poland. This region is home to the last wild bison population in Europe, and it's also where the Zubrowka grass grows. Step 2: Infuse the Zubrowka Bison Grass Each of these vodkas has its own unique flavor profile, so be sure to try a few out before settling on your favorite. What's the Difference Between Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka and Other Vodkas?

Generally, Żubrówka pairs well with citrus fruit and produces rich and zesty flavours. For instance, it can be part of a simple Vodka Tonic with a wedge of lime. Meanwhile, it can offer additional complexity to a classic vodka martini. We hand distil slowly, thoughtfully and passionately to create our exceptional products using traditional copper pot stills, Highland water and hand-foraged botanicals sourced from the spectacular cliffs of the Pentland Firth, Dunnet Forest or grown in the distillery’s own garden. Flavour has a distinctive lime cordial colour. It’s faint, but there’s this yellowish-green tint. The liquid itself is quite clear. You may get a little bit of sediment from the blade of grass in the bottle, though. Those who have trouble reading Polish or Belarusian should look past the letters on the label. Most versions contain a blade of bison grass inside the bottle as a visual cue. Growing your own The Sweetgrass Lounge is the official flagship of Sweet Grass Vodka and opened its doors in downtown Charleston within The Refinery just before November 2022.The Sweetgrass Lounge is an elevated, coastal-decadent tasting room and soon to be bottling facility for Sweet Grass Vodka. According to legend, Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka was first created in the 14th century by a group of Polish hunters who were seeking a way to preserve the flavor of the bison meat they had hunted. They discovered that by infusing the bison meat with alcohol, they could preserve its flavor for longer periods of time. And so, Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka was born.
