I loved Father Bell's character. But to only be 29 and taken the oath 3 years prior, you're talking about a playboy giving up the play in his prime!! šŸ˜² And Fleabag isnā€™t ready for this level of attention. ā€œWhere Did You Just Go?ā€: The Breathtaking Romance of Paying Attention Hi,ā€ she said as I indicated a chair next to me. Iā€™d chosen the two upholstered chairs in the corner of the office, hating to talk to people from behind my desk like I was a middle school principal. And with Poppy, I wanted to be able to soothe her, touch her if I needed, show her a more personal church experience than the Ancient Booth of Death. I really enjoyed this book and was fully vested. I mean, come on!! A priest and forbidden love? Yes please!! Father Bell becomes a priest because of something very emotional and tragic that has happened in his past, though his parents aren't supportive of his decision to become a priest , he still goes ahead with it because he feels it's the right path for him.

Pia: Just found out that Sierra Simone has released a sequel to Priest ā€“ Midnight Mass. Guess this will be my next read šŸ™‚

Details About Priest by Sierra Simone PDF

Cristina: Finished ā€œSweetest Sinā€ tonight. Perfect ending to a really great story! I can hang my Grandmotherā€™s rosary up! Redemption has been found! Iā€™m so happy I got to read this hidden treasure. Beautifully written. I would only add that the story could have been written into two books. While the book is satisfying enough by itself, I would like to have witnessed the first part of their journey. The story comes to us after their friendship and feelings have already developed, but neither have acted upon them or confronted each other about them. I wish I couldā€™ve been there for that part, yet somehow I donā€™t feel shorted. The author did a fantastic job giving us everything we need to become entranced with these two and their forbidden story! Loved it!! šŸ™‚

I think they both needed each other. She saw someone struggling with his priesthood and took advantage of that. Maybe that is what was meant to happen because it did help him to realize that he still had those human desires that were stronger than his faith or vows. Brave or foolish,ā€ she laughed. ā€œI threw away a lifetime of educationā€”expensive education. I assume my parents were devastated.ā€ Tyler is one boss of a priest. Heā€™s dedicated his entire life (well, several years) to his parish where he tries his damndest to make up the sins from someone elseā€™s past. After the tragic death of his own sister, he wants to make his small town believe in God again. Such a noble goal. She was so perfect that she was given an imperfection (her front teeth) to act as a beauty mark to accentuate her perfectness! It was so over the top. I saw this because she never felt like a character to me, but was an idea that the Priest was chasing and everything she was was molded to his need for her to be that because story. Maryse: I found this one! Grapes & Wrath: a forbidden romance (Forbidden Fruit) by Eve Cates <ā€”FORBIDDEN ROMANCE ā€˜CAUSE HEā€™S A PRIEST! ā€œā€¦ The moment I saw Emma seated in the pew, her eyes downcast and her hands clasped in silent prayer, I knew I had to have her. At first, I convinced myself that my interest was God sending me to help her escape the monster who resided in her own home. But that was a lie. I wanted her for my own. And I would break every commandment, every vow, and even the law, the make that happen...ā€Heather: Hi! Do you have a list of forbidden, age-gap books that involve priests. I just read Beautiful Sinner by Sara Cate, and now I want more forbidden yumminess LOL

Julie D: Maryse, I highly recommend Priest by Sierra Simone. ā€¦Thatā€™s pretty taboo if you ask me!!! But wow, it was an awesome book! Very cold shower-worthy, lol! Why did you like it?ā€ I was asking merely out of a counselorā€™s curiosity, of course. ā€œIf you donā€™t mind me asking.ā€ I did like Tyler, he was a good man, kindhearted and caring. The book was told mostly from his POV, but he came across at times more like a horny teenager rather than a 30 year old Catholic Priest. Poppy I never took to. I loved that she was a confident woman, happy with her sexual side, but I didn't believe she had much remorse or guilt for what was a blatant seduction and not much regard for Tyler's vocation. I wanted to throttle her for her actions towards the end.Robyn: The Original Sinners is one of the best series out there! You will not be disappointed. It meets all of our book requirements. I guarantee you will have a huge crush on Soren, Kingsley and Eleanor by the end. They come as a team! ā€¦I read The Confessions by Tiffany Reisz. Anything Soren and Nora want to confess Iā€™m all in! I just love, love, love this whole series! Stars were now dancing behind my eyelids but I didnā€™t move my hands. I didnā€™t want to see this office right now or St. Augustine. I didnā€™t want to see the newly ragged edges of my calendar or my newly filled wastebasket. Those words echoed in my head during my latest re-watch of Fleabag, as I noted how, again and again, the priest is the only person to take an interest in Fleabagā€™s life, in her opinions, in her feelings. He clearly loves her, and she clearly loves him, they just show it in different ways: I never meant to end up at the club,ā€ she finally said, her voice going low. ā€œI thought maybe Iā€™d find a small nonprofit to work at or maybe Iā€™d do something prosaic, like waiting tables. But I heard from a bartender that there was a club hidden somewhere in this cityā€”private, exclusive, discreet. And they were looking for girls. Girls who looked expensive.ā€

In one of the best moments of the series, Hot Priest visits Fleabagā€™s guinea-pig cafĆ©, which she started with her dead best friend Boo. He, clearly fascinated by her and unaware of her recent losses, enquires persistently about her mum, her best friend, and her cafĆ©. She, clearly not ready to talk to him about her very recent grief, gets flustered, and tries to change the subject. The more flustered Fleabag gets, the more she looks to the camera looks to us. Poppy is a strong woman, she goes for what she wants and she is not apologetic about it. She is sensual, and she owns it. Should she seduce a priest ? I dono , maybe ?.šŸ¤£ This book is seriously taboo and ridiculously HOT! Iā€™m 64% in and at the altar scene. EEK!! I havenā€™t been a practicing Catholic for quite some time now, and even Iā€™m wanting to grab my Grandmotherā€™s rosary and pray for them! I find myself wanting to creep into a corner to make sure no one is watching me read because it feels so forbidden! Iā€™m thinking, ā€œCan the Man upstairs see me reading this?ā€ I feel like I could be smited! LOLā€¦ Thus far, this book has definitely been my guiltiest pleasure of 2016.I was so combustible, Father Bell. I would get wet watching the men stroking themselves through their custom-tailored trousers. In the private rooms, Iā€™d pull my thong to the side and let them watch as I brought myself off. They liked that, they liked it when I teased myself and rubbed myself and rode my hand until I shuddered and sighed.ā€ PRIEST, como dito na sinopse, Ć© livro Ćŗnico e tem final feliz. She killed herself when she was nineteen,ā€ I went on, as if Poppyā€™s touch had triggered a response to share that couldnā€™t be stopped. ā€œShe left a note, with the names of other children heā€™d hurt. We were able to stop him, and he was put on trial and sentenced to ten years in prison.ā€
