For purists, the corrected DTS-HD 2.0 theatrical audio on The Road Warrior (and now lossless 2.0 theatrical audio on Beyond Thunderdome as well: while its similar stereo source material has been sweetened to fit Atmos' broader landscape, the positives far outweigh The HDR grade pushes the limits of the wider colour gamut but it suits the film's over-the-top visuals To celebrate the -- I don't know, the 41st anniversary of The Road Warrior, maybe? -- Warner Bros. has issued the Mad Max Over four decades since its release, Mad Max still holds up as a great action film featuring some of the most exciting and death-defying stunts ever filmed. All four films look spectacular, but Mad Max 2 is the only one to include any bonus features.
