Another potential cause of concern could be the lack of onboard profile storage for settings, macros, and programmable keys.

There aren't any dedicated media controls, but you can still access them through hotkeys using FN + the corresponding function key. The idea was that people could stop settling for membrane and mecha-membrane keyboards, (like the Razer Ornata V2), to save money. They're linear switches that don't provide any tactile feedback, and they require very little force to actuate. I appreciate that both are relatively hidden; however, without dedicated media keys, the top right area of the keyboard can seem barren from afar or in certain lighting, when the sail logo is barely visible. It seems Corsair had to cut a few corners with the K60 to make sure it doesn't tread too closely to its more expensive cousin. After, you can adjust things like mouse input and movement, as well as delay time and which actions trigger macros to begin or keep running. Dozens of different actions can be programmed into it as well – colors can pulse across the board, they can fall from the top of the board like raindrops, or keys can change colors when you press them.

With decades of experience, CHERRY has a storied legacy as the choice of gamers and esports professionals worldwide. This is top-class software that you won't find on more affordable keyboards, so the premium is certainly worth it if you find yourself configuring macros often. It's a full-sized keyboard, making this a bad choice for those who desire ten-keyless or 60% mechanical typing machines. With this Corsair, you can press FN and F1 to disable the Windows key, as the F1’s lock symbol and the corresponding indicator on the right side of the keyboard hint. It’s the height that marks the major difference, with the Low Profile version sitting nine millimeters shorter than its sibling. The lack of travel distance made it feel like I wasn’t getting much physical feedback, and my input felt squishy when bottoming out. Typos are also still more frequent than I’m used to, but I attribute this more to my lack of experience with low profile switches than the keyboard itself. Gamer-keyboard manufacturers somehow believe that lower actuation distance is a good thing for gaming, and thus they screw it up for those who'd want a keyboard mostly for typing.

as real users, posing a threat to a site’s security, so the site sometimes runs random security checks. If you're looking for switches that will register every action as soon as you think of them, this is the board for you. There are plenty of built-in presets so you don’t have to spend too much time designing patterns, and it’s easy enough to just make the whole deck glow white if you’re trying not to have it scream “gamer gear. There’s an extra plastic-y clack sound, especially when it’s hit pretty hard, accompanied by the quieter ding of the top plate. Instead of full-sized Cherry MX switches, Corsair opted to go with the company's MX Low Profile Speed switches.

That said, input mistakes were less frequent than when typing, and that’s because I have pretty good muscle memory for where the WASD and shift keys are, among others.

It offered every feature you could want in a gaming keyboard, from macro switches and a dial to Steam Deck integration. Bright, Dynamic Per-Key RGB Backlighting: Illuminate your desktop with near-limitless colors and effects. If you're okay with that, I easily removed a switch from my K60, which could be handy if one breaks; however, MX-style switches won't fit here. I struggle to press every key on a full-sized keyboard at once, but with an online tool I was able to register 51 simultaneous presses with the K60 RGB Pro.It’s just that the lack of travel distance occasionally threw me off and made me second guess myself. Enables dynamic RGB lighting control, key remaps and custom macro programming, and full-system lighting synchronization across all iCUE-compatible CORSAIR devices. Visually and conceptually, the Corsair K60 RGB Pro Low Profile imitates the non low-profile version of the keyboard that we reviewed about a month ago.
