The finale of the book when Cricket has a revelation of what to do next kind of felt like product placement (or it’s a coincidence that it aligned at the time).

Meanwhile, Cricket constantly downplays their concerns and is more worried for herself, often lamenting how her life is going to be over if anyone finds out about the Instagram account. I think it probably helps that 98% of the celebrities are fictionalised, although there is plenty of room to try to guess if any character is modelled on a real person. like the other characters in this book, he doesn’t have any personality to speak of, and his most defining characteristic is that he is into Cricket).
