Description

It’s Pure Henna Red hair dye is entirely natural and the final result depends on your initial hair colour. The colour will be unique to you. If your hair has been chemically lightened it will affect the colour result. - Chemical lighteners make your hair more porous and thus absorb the colour less predictably. On very light-coloured or light grey hair it sometimes appears to have a green tinge at first, but don’t panic - this will fade gradually over a few hours or days, as the dye oxidises and the colour deepens. DO NOT USE - You must either mix it with a red (henna) based colour, or dye your hair first with a brown or red shade. This henna is Body Art quality and excellent for colouring hair as it is more finely sifted it has a smoother less gritty texture.

The Soil Association. 100% organic, It's Pure Organics hair dye is free from PPD, ammonia and peroxide, Unlike synthetic hair dyes that chemically change the structure of your hair, this plant-based colour is non-invasive, gently coating your hair shaft with a semi-transparent, semi permanent layer of colour. The final shade will partly depend on the colour of your hair underneath; it will be lighter where your initial hair colour is light and darker where your initial hair colour is dark. Leaving the paste on for a longer time will make the colour stronger. If you want a deeper colour, you can also build up the colour with a second application. It is not recommended to use chemical bleach on your hair after using this dye, unless it has faded or grown out. This is because bleach will not remove the indigo element of the dye, so you may possibly be left with a bluish colour. If you do want to try bleaching, please strand test first.Henna will generally give brown hair red/brown undertones. Henna will give light coloured hair - grey, white or blonde a more orange/red tone. It is not recommended to use chemical bleach after using herbal hair colour containing indigo unless it has faded or grown out. This is because bleach will not remove indigo so you may be left with a bluish colour. On white/grey hair this Natural Brown shade is likely to be a warm light blonde to light brown colour. On dark blonde hair it is likely to be a warm light brown. On light brown hair it is likely to be a warm medium brown. If your hair is a salt-and-pepper mix of brown and white, then the overall effect will average out, with the white hair going a lighter brown and the brown hair going darker brown. A darker colour result may be obtained by repeated applications. The longevity of the Natural Brown shade depends how porous your hair is and how often you wash it. It tends to last on average about 3 to 4 weeks on the roots, but it can become permanent on porous areas of your hair such as the older, longer lengths of hair which become more weathered and porous over time. There may be slight variations in colour result between different batches of Herbal Hair Colour. - The botanical ingredients can be affected by varying climatic conditions from year to year. On white/grey hair this Henna Red shade is likely to be an orange-copper colour. On dark blonde to light brown it is likely to be a beautiful rich auburn redhead shade. On medium brown hair it is likely to be a rich red/brown shade. On darker brown hair it is not likely to be a strong red but more of red undertone especially in strong light. If your hair is a salt-and-pepper mix of brown and white, then the overall effect will average out, with brown hair going an auburn or warm brown shade and white hair going a coppery orange shade.

It’s Pure Very Dark Brown hair dye is entirely natural and works with the existing colour of your hair, so the result will be unique to you. There may be slight variations in colour result between different batches of Herbal Hair Colour. - The botanical ingredients can be affected by varying climatic conditions from harvest to harvest. Everyone’s hair is different and will take the colour differently so trial and error may be necessary to get the desired shade. Unlike synthetic hair dyes that chemically change the structure of your hair, this henna dye is non-invasive, gently coating your hair shaft with a layer of colour. The final colour will partly depend on the colour of your hair underneath, making it lighter where your initial hair colour is light and darker where your initial hair colour is dark.

Usage Instructions

The true colour takes a few hours to develop. When you first wash out the dye it will often not be the full depth of colour, but it will gradually darken to its true colour. Like a cut apple - at first the apple is white and then as it oxidises in the air it goes brown. If your hair has been chemically lightened, it will affect the colour result. - Chemical lighteners make your hair more porous and thus absorb the colour less predictably.
