Deluxe Edition, number 30 of 350 copies bound in full leather, from a total run of 2000 copies, with additional photograph SIGNED by MacCormack. The intimate memoir, David Bowie: Rock ‘n’ Roll with Me, reveals rare insight into a friendship where two men shared their love for music from the moment they met to their final goodbyes. Bowie wearing only his underwear while playing to adoring fans in Tokyo, meeting Russian villagers after stepping off the Trans-Siberian Railway or the filming The Man Who Fell to Earth in New Mexico… McCormack's years with Bowie seem to have been "the freakiest show" - but it's clear that he had the time of his life.

A must for all Bowie fans, it sheds a rare insight into a friendship where two men shared their love for music from the moment they met to their final goodbyes.

David Bowie remains a household name all over the world; in this interview, his childhood friend Geoff MacCormack dives into their friendship and beyond. From Station To Station is the untold story of three years of writing, recording, performing, living and travelling with David Bowie. Original full red leather, lettering to spine gilt, lettering to front cover blindstamped in brown, all edges gilt.

We’re incredibly proud to be publishing Geoff’s book and know fans, old and new, will be as enthralled with his book as we all are. Nevertheless I stayed with him for another two years, travelling and working on other tours - including Diamond Dogs and Young Americans - and six albums from Aladdin Sane to Station to Station. Beginning at Burnt Ash Primary school in the mid-1950s, where Bowie and MacCormack discovered their passion for music to touring the Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane shows and sailing to New York on a world tour, to Bowie’s first major film The Man Who Fell to Earth and the recording of Station to Station, MacCormack was there touring, recording, and traveling with the man who changed rock music. James Smith, Publisher of ACC Art Books, said: “This unique story, told with humour and incredible insight, details the author’s adventures on-and-off the road with David Bowie – his childhood friend. With work spanning 25 of the most eminent names in photography, this book showcases a stunning portfolio of imagery and gives us an insight into the artist unlike any other. About Geoff MacCormack: Geoff MacCormack, David Bowie’s lifelong friend, joined Bowie’s 1973 world tour as an additional back-up vocalist and percussionist, and later as a ‘Diamond Dog’ in ’74 and what would be known as ‘The Young Americans Soul Tour’. And now David Bowie: Rock ‘n’ Roll With Me is out in the world — perhaps the closest you’ll get to being on tour with Bowie in that era without a time machine and a backstage pass.
