Blended to celebrate Suntory Whisky's centenary, this whisky combines the unique smokiness of peat with the smoothness of the Hakushu mountain water, filtered through ancient granite. Established in 1881, Bunnahabhain whiskies are renowned for their unpeated or lightly peated character, a departure from the typical peaty nature associated with Islay whiskies.There’s a moment when this really blooms, with intense dried fruit flavors amplified by a tingly, almost effervescent texture as a reminder that the ABV on this has a “6” handle. An intensely warming Islay whisky; with dried fruit, sherry, toffee and spices lead to a rich honeyed nuttiness and the slightest hint of sea salt. Our Bunnahabhain 18 year whisky is non-chill filtered and natural colour, this rich mahogany malt is one of the Bunnahabhain family favourites.
