While we entered the fermentation room, the tour guide informed us that the long fermentation time of Bushmills is what gives it the unique fruity characteristic that’s found in all expressions. The nose is powerful with lemon, fresh grapes and barley with a flavour which is sweet, almost dairy-infused and rich in fruit.Noticeably sweet as soon as it hits the palate, you will enjoy the bite of lemon and lime and hints of orange all tantalising the tongue. uk accepts no liability for inaccuracies or misstatements about products by manufacturers or other third parties. This unique recipe means Black Bush has rich, fruity notes and a deep intense character, balanced by an incredibly unique smoothness.

But I have felt that over recent years quality has been slipping and so I felt it time to revisit and share my opinion. From the house of Bushmills from Great Britain pours with this Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey a tasty whiskey - whiskey in the sparkling glass and immediately bewitches the eye of inclined spirits lovers*innen with expressive golden yellow color.

Originally hailing from Ireland and enjoying the available Irish whiskeys, Hamish was drawn into the world of Scotch malt and further afield while he fell into the flavour chase rabbit-hole. and the ability to bottle your own from a selection of 2 cask strength barrels, in which the finish and ages do change once availability is gone. This is something Teeling offered, but more around the tasting experience at the end which I thought was a great idea. Young and sprightly, Patron Silver is the youngest of their tequilas and its flavour reflects its youth. Clear in colour and rich with fruity aromas, particularly citrus, Patron Silver is refreshing and has a smooth sweetness about it.The flavour is creamy and full-bodied, zesty on the palate with orange and lime notes and then oaky tobacco comes through, enjoyable and warm. I had already bought it 3 years ago directly at the Bushmills distillery in Northern Ireland, I knew of its exceptional taste and I wanted to savor the true tradition.

It was a clear Sunday in November 2019; my wife and I went to the distillery for a tour while staying along the North coast of Ireland. Each time I nose a Bushmills Black Bush, I am immediately brought back to the still house in Bushmills. Sadly, I didn’t have enough to share with Hamish, but I thought a bonus comparison note would be appreciated by the Dramface audience. The high malt mash-bill presents an acceptable level of quality especially if you're used to a Speyside whisky. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products.
