Similarly, the hi-cut and low-cut knobs in place of a general tone knob make it easy to dial in the exact tone I want—especially on bass guitar. I read some reviews online about it introducing a heap of noise, and fair enough it can get a bit hissy if you have the Level at maximum, but it really is nothing.

Cons- no battery input (no issue for me, I use power anyway), shimmer occasionally gets a bit violent. As we've said above, the Mooer pedals are too small to fit a 9v battery in, so you need to use these with a compatible 9v power supply. With the Mooer Shimverb you can get everything from convincing surf sounds to modern ambient soundscapes. With the Level and Decay both around the 10 'o' clock mark, it is like playing in a bathroom, which is quite nice, but you can get what you want from playing with the three dials easily enough.

Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). If you've yet to experience the majesty of shimmer reverb, let us explain: the 'verb trail is pitch-shifted - usually up an octave - to create an ethereal haze behind your guitar, a little like a synth pad. Where the original ShimVerb featured only an unusual 5th-up shimmer, the Pro offers a choice of five intervals, which can be combined with octave-up shifting using a small button.

The lower end seems to be unaffected, and levelling for lower registers and playing accordingly seems fine. We offer this service free of charge for every instrument, that's why we're not the cheapest on the internet, but you can be sure you won't get any nasty surprises once you get your new instrument. The reverb on this pedal is common, I use it rare, because shimmer mode for me is better in playing. It can suck some of the top end away to make the lower strings sound more woody, so you may need to adjust amp or bass settings accordingly to reflect this.Unleash Your Creativity - With dedicated controls for shimmer and reverb effects, the ShimVerb Pro provides an extensive range of sonic possibilities. Introducing the Mooer ShimVerb Pro Digital Reverb Pedal, a cutting-edge addition to your pedalboard that's redefining the boundaries of sonic creativity.
