It seems to project fairly well, I've had some compliments from this and I would recommend this any day of the week.The same goes for some rare and precious flowers that open to the soft and reassuring light of a thousand distant stars. I was greeted with a note on the wrapping from the seller thanking me and informing me there was a sample with the box which was a lovely touch, thank you for that and a great way to build a fanbase. Well something had to coax me out of loitering here and reading reviews, but never offering a review and La Yuqawam has done it.

In fact, I can recommend all three Al Yuqawams in the series; I'm not sure if "flanker" is the right term for Ambergris Showers and Tobacco Blaze, because "flanker" to me has connotations of being a second-rate copy of the original. YES, it's a potent perfume, a spray leaves more oil on my arm than my manceras, but I would opt for something higher quality or even a scent that doesn't last so long but is well blended and wearable. My only complaint is that Rasasi don't fill the bottle up to capacity here - you get 75ml when the bottle seems like it would easily hold 100ml. Unless I am being fooled by Bulgarian rose (which is not in the official scent pyramid) or something, I am pretty sure it's jasmine. The soft, smooth, rich and lingering woodiness of sandalwood with a hint of green notes subdues the animalist leather and Indian oud with sumptous helping from amber.It’s full of all my fav notes; vanilla, tonka, coconut, pear so when it didn’t immediately grab me I almost sold it but after about 8 months of sitting on my shelf ITS BECOME SO AMAZING. Don’t be put off by the opening if you arent into strong scents, this will wrap you in fresh, deep fruits and vanilla for the long haul.
